Evaluation Of F.M.P

My final major project has allowed me to respond to briefs that are in correspondence to my practice. i have been able to produce work and graphics that are orientated by Packaging, Branding And identity, wether it being Logo design or re designing a companies identity it offered me the challenge in the direction i wish to pursue.

The briefs i had chosen all accompanied these aspects of design and was appropriate towards my practice, also they have given me a structure for my portfolio from the final outcomes. My design context wasn't that successful, it gave information on the subject of packaging however it was a last minute project that i had left behind, given i thought about my time more appropriately i could have improved the project by a great deal

The projects went well in accordance to the briefs and the work load, i realize that i favored some briefs and did much more work however the smaller briefs were more successful than the ones i had spent half my time on. If i had made a proffessional calendar and stayed in line with it i would have done such a great deal more. i was drifting in and out of briefs and this cost alot of my time. I am pleased with the outcomes and think the final pieces will look great in my portfolio.

I had completed the F.M.P with Five briefs but i would have much preffered to do Four and devote my time equally with a correct plan. i feel i could have got alot more from this project and Honestly take into account of wasting time by not moving on with briefs, trying new things. i found myself confused at times in where to take the briefs. However given that this occured i feel very happy with the outcomes.

If i had to rework the projects again i would certainly make sure i had a sufficiant time plan and that i would stick to it. Time plans have kept me on track in the past however i panicked in some situations and then soon enough the deadline came.

On a personal level i feel the projects have matured my way of working and expressed my skills in my area of design. The research and depth in work has allowed me to learn new skills and new ways of working.
